Storytelling small groups are a time of self-discovery of the Scripture in community.

Story combined with questions give space to learn about God’s Word in dialogue not monologue.

We structure our group time as follows:

Pre-Story Activities

Relational time to prepare hearts to hear the story.

Guidelines given – Sample of our guidelines

Questions asked to help remember and connect to previous story and to connect to                           story that will be told

Story –  told in an uninterrupted manner in storytelling fashion

Post-Story Activities

Rebuild the story – group re-tells

story in chronological fashion

Read the text from the Bible

            Questions and discussion

Head questions – details of the story

Heart questions –  implications of the story

Hands questions – application of story and accountability

End with Prayer
